Consistent quality

I've been a subscriber for a while now, probably close to a year. This time around, I renewed my Annual Health Membership. I usually stick with the Strength Building for Seniors and Balance Improvement Exercises. What I like is that the quality of the videos and instructions is always consistent. I've seen some new content added over time, but the core stuff I rely on is still there and works just as well as it did on my first order. That reliability is why I keep coming back.

Good value for annual plan

I was looking for something to help with my knee recovery that wasn't too expensive. The Annual Health Membership caught my eye because of the discount compared to paying monthly. I signed up for it last month and have been using the Post-Surgery Recovery Videos. The content seems good, and I feel like I got a fair deal for the whole year. It felt worth the purchase, especially since it's doctor-approved.

Easy to get started

So, my friend told me about Fun and Moving because I've been having some trouble with my back. I just got the Monthly Movement Subscription a couple weeks ago. I tried some of the Level 2 Assisted Movement videos, and they were pretty straightforward. Didn't need any fancy equipment or anything. The videos streamed fine on my tablet. It was a good experience overall, much easier than I thought it would be to get into a routine.

Thinking of signing up for Fun and Moving for my mom, she has knee issues. Are the seated exercises actually doable or is it still too much?

D Danielle Martin 2 weeks ago
Yeah, my grandma uses it for her back pain and she mostly does the Level 1 seated stuff. She finds it really helpful and not too intense.

They have different levels, so you can definitely start with the seated ones. I think they even have assisted movement if that's still too much. You can always try the free trial first to see.

Is the content legit doctor approved or is that just marketing speak? I'm hesitant to try new exercise programs without knowing it's safe.

I Ian 2 weeks ago
It's legit. I saw some interviews with the doctors and physical therapists who designed the programs. They really focus on making it safe and effective for people with limited mobility.

My own PT recommended it to me. They wouldn't do that if it wasn't actually backed by medical professionals. It's not just some random internet workout.

How does Fun and Moving compare to something like SilverSneakers? My insurance covers SS but F&M looks more specific.

S Sam Hall 2 weeks ago
I've tried both. Fun and Moving is way more tailored, especially if you have a specific condition or injury. SilverSneakers is good, but it's more general fitness, imo.

Fun and Moving is definitely geared towards chronic conditions and recovery. SilverSneakers is fine for general activity but F&M's routines are designed with doctor input, so it feels safer and more guided for someone with limitations.

Does Fun and Moving offer any discounts? I'm a senior, wondering if there's a specific code or something.

S Sandra 3 weeks ago
Yep, they definitely have senior citizen discounts. I think you usually get it through a special link or a promo code at checkout, so keep an eye out for that.

My physical therapist actually gave me a referral code for a discount. Maybe ask your doctor if they're partnered with Fun and Moving, that's how I got mine.
